The Poppy Project
January 2022
The Poppy Project commenced when Maroba was in hard lockdown to give residents a purpose and a focus to work towards something.
Our aim is for each resident to receive a knitted or crocheted poppy on Anzac Day and we will create a Poppy waterfall for our balcony.
The project has grown and now staff, family members, the local Knitters Guild and community members are knitting or crocheting poppies for us.
The Poppy waterfall will require many poppies so we welcome contributions from community members and we can provide wool if required.
We would appreciate contributions be dropped to Reception by 31 March, 2022.
Any questions please ring Reception on (02) 4935 0300.
Thank you for supporting our Poppy project.
